The trails we walk on are in the Auburn State Recreation Area – 40 meandering miles of the North and Middle Forks of the American River. Walking on these trails offers us natural beauty from spring wildflowers and Ponderosa Pines, to creeks, waterfalls and the sparkling American River. Most of the trails we walk start at the Robie Point trailhead, and we can be walking on the famous Western States Trail in just a few minutes.
